Sitting with Him

In a world that constantly pushes us to move faster, do more, and carry heavier burdens, there is something sacred about simply sitting at the feet of Jesus.

Romans 5 reminds us that even in tribulation, we can rejoice because suffering produces perseverance, character, and hope. Yet in the middle of life’s pressures, God never intended for us to lose the beauty of His presence.

Martha was consumed with serving, while Mary chose stillness. She chose worship. She chose gratitude. She chose to sit at Jesus’ feet and appreciate the moment. Sometimes the greatest act of faith is not striving harder, but slowing down long enough to hear His voice.

May we become intentional about gratitude.
Intentional about solitude.
Intentional about resting in His presence.

Not every moment needs noise.
Not every season requires rushing.
Some moments are meant to be sat in, quietly at the feet of Jesus.

The solitude of life often becomes the place where peace, healing, and hope are restored.

“But Mary sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word.” — Luke 10:39
“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts…” — Romans 5:5
