A new beginning

As I sit here at work all I can think about is that in a couple of days we will be in a new year and I just wanted to remind everyone today that this was the year of completeness and we are going into a year of new beginning. 2017 may have been a very challenging year for some of us, some may have lost their job, someone dear to them whether physically or relationship wise but I want to remind you that we are still here. Also, you may be someone who may have had a difficult year financially, medically or emotionally, but God had covered you thus far and you are one step closer to your destiny. The struggle was real this year because it was such a bipolar, rollercoaster of a year but we MADE IT, YALL!!!

Just remember whatever your dreams and destiny is dont let this year derail you from it. God is giving us a fresh start to pursuit him and our dreams and along the way through this process uplift someone because you never know who you may be a blessing too. Secondly, have faith along you journey and trust in God he will allow everything to work out for your good. Our challenges  comes to make us stronger and at times we are going to be faced with situations that forces us to grow. I believed 2017 was a year of growth for everyone. I know from personal experience, I had to let go of relationships, certain ways of thinking and bad habits in which (BTW I’m still working on) but I also gained along the ways. In life we have to stop looking at the things we have lost and look at things we have gained throughout our journey. I know it’s easier said then done but this journey requires us to make one step at a time, one foot in front of the other and a little faith. Adjustment to this change doesn’t happen over night, it takes gradual progression and that is why I believe God have given us another 365 days to make these improvements.

Lastly, I want to encourage you to never look back at that place you use to know called Familiar Town. This town is filled with people you use to know, the habits you once left behind and the things that once head you back from your truth. You have to keep looking forwards regardless of how the journey may look because you have a Savior guiding your every move. So, say goodbye to 2017 and welcome 2018 with open arms and embraces this new beginning you will be embarking upon.

So remember be strong in the Lord and be of good courage because he will strengthen your heart and endurance to reach your destiny.

Stay blessed,
